What's New?

It's show time again! This time we are proud to present "The Unmentionables"!
Everything's Jake! It's a lollapalooza as the dolls of Southland Harmony Chorus present a musical romp: "THE UNMENTIONABLES" - The True Story of Eliot Mess and Al Cologne Saturday, November 7, 2009: Curtain Time 7:00PM, Artesia High Fine Arts Center (Terpsichorean Club), 12108 E. Del Amo Blvd., Lakewood, CA 90715.

An afterglow reception will be held immediately following the show at Norwalk Masonic Center, 12345 E. Rosecrans. Tickets and information: Gail Barrena 714-390-5932.

1927: Lucky Lindy flies the Atlantic. The Charleston is the bee's knees. The flapper is America's sweetheart. In Chicago, Al Cologne rules with absolute power, and stinks to high heaven. Disheveled federal agent Eliot Mess is on to the scent with his trusted band of incorruptible men of honor. But no one can mention them out loud. It's a jazzy night of the blues and a good old-fashioned love story. Starring, Bob Hartley as Eliot Mess, Brian Philbin as Al Cologne, Wendy Jackson as Roxie Roundbottom, Natasha Raska as Mae and Gordon Watt as Jack. Also joining us at Harry's joint will be neo-vaudevillian physical comedy duo Ten West, the vocal stylings of mixed quartet Ready Willing & Mabel and pianist Claudia Gambino. And other surprise patrons might drop in. Sound and lighting design by David Marcum.

Sound copacetic? So, don't take any wooden nickels. Get hip to the jive, put on the ritz, hop in your jalopy and get over to Joe's Gin Joint, er... Terpsichorean Club, on Saturday night November 7. Tell 'em "Joe sent me!"
